The Cornerstone Loft

Constructed in 1865, this is the oldest brick building still standing is Downtown Tyler. The upstairs was occupied by offices, the street level was a grocery store, and the basement was a coffin shop.  The upstairs has been remodeled into one 1600 sq. ft.  2-bedroom apartment and the street level continues as a retail space.
